19 People Killed in Fireworks Explosion | Firework shows are not always fun, sometimes causing harm if we are not careful or make illegal fireworks. As many as 19 people were killed when residents celebrated the Lunar New Year festivals in southern China. The incident occurred when they lit fireworks that triggered a huge explosion.

Fireworks explosion that happened to the celebration that took place in a village in Guangdong Province, China on Friday, February 26, 2010. People who celebrate the New Year festival was preparing fireworks in their area.

Suspected origin of the explosion came from formulated fireworks illegally. Ignition of fireworks is not aware if the impact of the fireworks explosion was very powerful. The size of the yield of these fireworks, causing some of the front of the house badly damaged.

Two people have been arrested in this incident. Both are the ignition of fireworks blow in front of a house owned by residents. Besides killing 19 people, this incident also wounded about 32 others.

Fireworks explosion formulated by the people themselves were often happens in China. Year firework explosion had lit a large fire at a hotel which is also the headquarters of China's television station, CCTV in Beijing.

For this year, the Beijing local government prepare to the accidents, due to fireworks damage. Approximately 120 ambulances have been prepared in anticipation of casualty’s fireworks accident.
