Symphony of Lights; Great Special event | We know that except fireworks, there are many tools or multimedia that make event become more amazing. The fireworks display can combine with light and sound, so there is one event that makes Guinness World Records record it by largest permanent light and sound show. There is A Symphony of light.

A Symphony of Lights is a synchronized building exterior attractive light and laser multimedia display, featuring 44 buildings on both sides of the Victoria Harbour of Hong Kong accompanied by music. The technology was developed by Australian firm Laservision and cost approximately 44 million HK dollars. It has attracted over 4 million visitors and locals so far.

Kowloon side

East Tsim Sha Tsui
Along the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront between the Avenue of Stars and the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. (Live broadcast of the theme song available.)
Directions: MTR East Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit J, and follow the signs.

Along West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade
Directions: MTR Jordan Station Exit C1 or MTR Kowloon Station on L2/F. Then take a taxi


Hong Kong side

Wan Chai
Along the promenade at the Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai. (Live broadcast of the theme song available.)
Directions: MTR Wan Chai Station Exit A5. Follow signs to Golden Bauhinia Square by covered walkway. About a 15-minute walk.

Area around Central Piers
Directions: MTR Hong Kong Station Exit E1. Walk through ifc mall to the Central Piers.

Victoria Harbour
Join a New Year Countdown Cruise and experience the stunning fireworks and vistas from the deck.

The symphony of light is organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board and displayed every night with good weather at 8pm Hong Kong Time. An orchestration of music, decoration lights, laser light displays, and pyrotechnic fireworks, the multimedia light and sound show lasts for about 14 minutes.

The largest permanent light show in the world, performed by the towers of Central District, Hong Kong. This is how the light show looks from the other side of the harbour, on the waterfront in Kowloon. The show lasts for 15 minutes every night - this video shows just the last six minutes.
